Mysteria Paschalia – An Alternative Passion //zamus: early music marathon A dialogue between Passover, the moving main Jewish festival, and the Christian Easter. Both are linked, as, according to the New Testament the death and resurrection of the Christ happened on Passover week. From this calendar closeness, PRISMA develops a concert idea that takes the ensemble from traditional and folk music from Israel to Christian-sacred music, to Egypt and Hungary, and even to Afro-American gospels.
